Please note that we are a team working together to assist guests throughout the day. We do not have a night shift, so if you reach out during late hours, we'll get back to you first thing in the morning.

🧳 What to pack?

• 👟 Confortable shoes with ankle support. In Downtown, everything is easier when you are walking. Most of the streets are cobble stone and it is easy to twist your ankle (high heels are not for San Miguel, they are dangerous).
• 🧣 Warm clothing. From November to March, San Miguel experiences cold fronts, and there is no central climate control on the property. Although we have portable heaters, they are not always sufficient. *Please come prepared. Whether you are on or off the property, don't let the weather be a reason for a bad experience.
• 💻 Personal electronics chargers, adaptors as needed
• 📷 Camera, memory cards, chargers
• 🔋 Flashlights, batteries
• 🩱 Swimwear for the heated shared pool

San Miguel de Allende enjoys a mild climate year-round, but temperatures can vary. Check the weather forecast before you pack to ensure you're prepared for the current conditions. The property is equipped with heating and fans to keep you comfortable during your stay.

🛒 Nearby Grocery Stores

The house is located 1 block from the market, where you'll find all kinds of groceries. For any necessities, there are several local grocery stores and markets in San Miguel de Allende. For a wider range of options you can shop at "La Comer", "Soriana" or for a more gourmet experience "City Market".

A Pack 'n Play crib is available for your baby upon request. Please let our team know before your arrival so we can have it ready for you.

♨️ Hot Water

The water heater in property is a tankless model, no action is needed. 🚿 In the bathrooms and showers, when facing the faucets, the one on the left is the hot water.

🚮 Garbage

The garbage truck comes by Monday, Wednesday & Friday at: 7 am, 9am & 12pm. 🔔 The workers ring a bell as they pass. Please do not leave bags on the street. Trash bags should be taken out right when they pass by—not earlier.

In exceptional cases, like road closures or holidays, the garbage truck may not come. In those situations, please leave the trash in the back patio.

The washing machine and dryer are conveniently located in the house and are free to use. Instructions for operation are available, and we provide essentials such as detergent and fabric softener.

📍 The house is located in one of the main streets of downtown San Miguel de Allende. Surrounded by the best restaurants, museums, art galleries and shops.

MOSTLY FLAT It is 4 mostly flat blocks away (1/4 mile) from the Parish (Jardín Principal).

🔊 NOISE Being close to everything comes with a price, it will be noisy during fiestas/holidays and the church bells are significant. Loud bangs (similar to fireworks) are set off by people at odd times (night and day) around churches to celebrate minor religious festivals throughout the year.

🚶 WALKING You will be walking a lot. 🥿 We recommend that you bring shoes with ankle support. Some streets are flat cobble stones, but many are round cobble stones and it is easy to twist an ankle.

🅿️ PARKING If you are driving, the house does NOT have private parking. For a couple of hours, next to the house is a Public Parking Lot (expensive).

The majority of the guests look for a spot to park in the street for free.  If you prefer to leave your car in a Public Parking Lot with a daily fee, or you can't find any because it is a busy day, the nearest one is in Calle Ánimas 38, next to mercado Ignacio Ramirez.

🚖 CABS AND UBER Some places like "Fabrica la Aurora" or "El Charco del Ingenio" are not at walking distance, taxis and Uber service are available at reasonable prices.

🦺 For emergency services (ambulance, police, fire), call 911.

Do not delay if you feel an emergency situation has arisen. State your location as the address on the kitchen.

In case of a fire

• Exit the property as quickly as possible
• Ensure that all persons are accounted for

🚨Safety Equipment

The property is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers, and a first aid kit. Please familiarize yourself with their locations upon arrival.

Do not attempt to re-enter the property until a Fire Officer states that it is safe to do so.

🧳 To ensure a pleasant and secure experience for all our guests, please note that the primary guest making the reservation must be at least 30 years old. Thank you for your understanding.

• 🧺 Gather used towels. Please leave the used towels in the laundry room. Makeup, hair dye, shoe grease, blood, mud, etc… are difficult stains to remove from towels and other fibers.  In the event that we are unable to remove them, a replacement charge will be made.
• 📴 Turn things off. Before leaving, please turn off the lights, TVs, and any other electrical devices that were used.
• 🔐 Return keys. The keys must be returned as you found them. Leave one set inside the lockbox after securing the property, and the rest where you found them. (Please make sure to return all sets of keys in full. This will help us avoid the unpleasant need to charge for lock replacement and new key sets).
